Malaysian Recipe : Beef Sate
|

Ingredients:
- 500g sirloin or round steak
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
- Remove any far from the beef and but into 1/5cm dice
- Marinate in the garlic, soy sauce, oils, sugar, five spice powder and salt for at least one hour.
- Moisten pointed end of skewers and thread 3 or 4 pieces of each.
- Cook over glowing coals rotating continuously until cooked. Served with peanut sauce or peanut dressing.
