Malaysian Recipe : Deep-Fried Pork Sandwich

Ingredients:
- Bread cut in 2 cm thick slices
- 250g lean pork, cut into small dice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 dried mushrooms, soaked and chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
- Heat wok, add 1 tbsp vegetable oil and sauté pork, onions and mushrooms together. Add salt and pepper.
- Break eggs in a flat bowl and beat lightly.
- Make a slit pocket in the bread slice and fill with pork mixture.
- Close end with cocktail stick and dip into beaten egg.
- Deep fry in hot oil until it turns golden brown. Serve hot with sambal and salad.
