Thai Recipe : Thai-style Steamed Prawn

Ingredients:

  • 500 g fresh water prawn, 6x
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • ½ onion, minced
  • 1 stalk lemon grass, minced
  • 1 piece lime leaves, minced
  • 2 chili padi, diced
  • 1 sprig spring onion, diced
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp Thai sauce
  • ½ tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Trim off legs and de-vein. Clean and pat prawns dry.
  2. Heat up 2 tbsp oil, stir fry chopped garlic, onion and lemon grass till fragrant.
  3. Add in sauce and lime juice, stir well for later use.
  4. Add in fried spices into prefried prawn, steam for 8 minutes and high heat.
  5. Remove and garnish with spring onions.
