Vietnamese Recipe : Grilled Beef in La Lot Leaves

Ingredients:

  • 200g beef tenderloin, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • ½ tsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 15-20 la lot leaves

Directions:

  1. Combine the minced beef with the garlic, lemongrass, fish sauce, sugar and salt. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Place a tablespoonful of the beef mixture on a la lut leaf. Roll up and secure with a bamboo pick, if necessary.
  3. Grill until fragrant and serve with fish dipping sauce.
