Famous Authentic Chinese Recipe : Double Fillet with Pineapple


  • 1 ripe pineapple
  • 240g rump beef
  • 320g chicken breast
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 4 black mushroom raised in water


  • Adequate amount of red pepper shreds, Lettuce shreds, Purple cabbage shreds and Parsley


  • Adequate amount each of oil
  • Light soy sauce
  • MSG
  • Sugar
  • Pepper powder
  • Starch
  • Shaoxing wine
  • Starch solution


  1. Halve the ripe pineapple with sprouts, scrape pulp out of one half, cut the pulp into thick strips, wash them with salt water and drain. Then carve toothed patterns on the rims of the pineapple.
  2. Cut the rump beef and chicken breast separately into thick sticks like chopsticks, add seasoning separately to mix well and marinate for a while and scald them separately in boiling water.
  3. Lay the (A) shreds and parsley around the rim as garnishes and place the scraped pineapple as a boat-shaped container in the centre. Heating oil in the pot, sauté garlic cloves and ginger slices, take them out, sprinkle wine in, put black mushroom shreds, pineapple strips, green pepper shreds and red pepper shreds to stir twice, add the beef and chicken fillet of step 2, stir them together quickly, add seasonings, stir starch solution in and pour the mixture into the pineapple container of Step 3 when hot for serving.
