Chinese Recipe : Slow Cooked Roast Pork

|
This is a simple Chinese style oven-bake recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 to 3 lb. pork roast
- 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 c. dry sherry
- 1/2 tsp. grated ginger root
- 2 chopped green onions
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients except pork roast.
- Place roast in oven-proof dish that just fits the roast. Cover with remaining mixed ingredients. Cover pan tightly. Bake at 300°F for 4 to 5 hours.
