Chinese Recipe - Lamb and Turnip Soup

This soup helps to replenish blood - ideal especially to women who just gave birth. Good to drink during the cold climate.
Ingredients:
- ¾ lb lamb
- 10 oz turnip
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 slices ginger
- ¼ dried tangerine peel
- 4 red dates
Seasoning:
Directions:
- Wash and chop up lamb. Blanch in boiling water and rinse.
- Peel turnip, wash and cut into trihedral shape. Soak and clean dried tangerine peel. Remove pits from red dates.
- Put lamb, dried tangerine peel, ginger and red dates in pot. Sizzle wine. Add suitable amount of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Then parboil over low heat for 1 hour. Put in turnip and cook for 2 hours. Stir in seasoning. Serve hot.
