Chinese Recipe - Braised Bamboo Shoots with Mushrooms

Ingredients:
- ½ lb canned bamboo shoot
- 8 dried mushrooms
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp wine
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp MSG
- 6 tbsp water
Directions:
- Cut bamboo shoot into cubes.
- Soak mushrooms in hot water for 10 minutes. Remove stems. If large mushrooms are used, halved them.
- Heat oil and fry bamboo shoot and mushrooms. Add all seasonings and water. Cover with lid and simmer for 20 minutes until liquid dries up. Serve hot.
