Chinese Recipe : Cantonese / Guangdong Style Pickles

Ingredients:
- 600 g Turnip

300g Carrot
-
3 Cucumbers
Seasoning:
-
1 cup White Sugar
-
1 cup White Rice Vinegar
-
1 Tablespoon Salt
Directions:
- Peel the turnip and carrot, cut into cubes. Use 1 Tsp salt to marinate for 20 minutes. Remove, rinse and drain.
- Clean the cucumbers, cut into cubes, and marinate them with 1/2 tsp salt for 20 minutes. Remove, rinse and drain.
- Mix sugar and vinegar, stir properly with chopsticks, and soak all the vegetable cubes for 6 hours.
