Chinese Recipe : Fried Bamboo Shoots with Chili Sauce

Ingredients:
- 2 ½ lbs fresh bamboo shoot
- Oil for deep frying
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Dash MSG
Directions:
- Boil bamboo shoot for 25 minutes, drain and cut into thin bias strips.
- Heat oil for deep-frying and fry bamboo strips to golden brown. Remove to a plate.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil and add chili sauce. When mixture is hot, add bamboo, soy sauce, sugar and MSG. Stir for several minutes, remove to serving dish, and serve hot.
